Pond Cleaning Made Easy

Posted on

You can clean your pond naturally and effectively by using a natural bacteria product that eats up sludge and muck that causes unwanted algae and pond weeds to grow.  This sludge and muck is responsible for algae growth, poor fish health, green pond water, noxious odors, stagnant water and more.  Treat your pond naturally with an awesome product like our PlanktoniX.  It's the #1 all-natural, totally safe and effective bacteria on the market you can get to clear ponds and lakes.  It comes in an easy-to-use powder that you sprinkle or toss into the pond and the powder settles to the bottom where it starts to vigorously eat the sludge and muck.

Did you know?  Every body of water such as lakes, ponds and rivers have good types of bacteria in them.  It's when they get overloaded with too many fish, too much wastes and too little oxygen that bad things start to happen.

You can find a variety of sizes available for PlanktoniX.  It comes in 2 lbs, 10 lbs and 25 lb bucket.  We have been using this product for many years and the results are amazing.  Hands down, the best product we've used and seen.

Using the correct size of aerator for your pond can also help add necessary oxygen to your prized fish but can enhance the effectiveness of the PlanktoniX, too.  (Although it doesn't need it.)  The more oxygen you give your pond the healthier it will be.  Plain and simple.  We have diffused aerators where the air diffuser sits on the bottom of the pond and aerates from the bottom all the way to the top - which is exactly what you want.  We also have high volume surface aerators for very large ponds that are very shallow, less than 6' deep.

Any type of beneficial bacteria for ponds works best with water temperatures above 50 degrees.  Now is the time to really start cleaning your pond and making it healthy.  In regards to PlanktoniX - while it's the top product on the market, you can add 2, 3 or even 5 times the dosage if you really want to be aggressive in your cleaning, especially if you have good aeration.  This can eliminate extremely expensive cost and time from having to dredge ponds.  Some of our customers have saved tens of thousands of dollars by using PlanktoniX instead of having their ponds dredged.

We are always more than happy to help.  Please contact us with your pond questions and we can get you set up with the most effective solution for your pond.
