Water gardens are typically a garden of aquatic flowers
grown in water with very few, if any, fish.
Ponds are typically a body of water that usually
has predominantly fish and maybe some aquatic plants.
Fish ponds are typically a body of water used
predominantly for raising fish. People with fish ponds usually don't have many, if
any, aquatic plants in them (at least, not intentional). Some fish are vegetarians
(like japanese koi) and may eat the plants. Also, fish usually brush through the
plants looking for tiny bugs to eat and therefore can quickly uproot any planted aquatic
plants while doing so.
