Aerating large ponds and lakes requires a specific formula to figure out
the amount of aeration and horsepower of a pump that you need to treat your pond or lake.

To choose the right aerator for your pond or lake, first calcuate the size
of horsepower (HP) that your pond requires. From there you can decide the type of
fountain nozzle you would like as well as the electrical requirements for that aerator
& pump. You have a choice in the length of cable as well as the quantity of
