Pond Waterfall, Waterfall Unit
To build a great looking
waterfall, use either our Aquafall waterfall unit, our EP Waterfall Spillway
or our Just-a-Falls waterfall units.
AquaFalls™
A waterfall unit including a mechanical filter, biological filter and
waterfall unit all-in-one!
Aquafalls units are available in 3 different sizes, each unit
provides complete mechanical and biological filtration as well as a housing for the
beginning of a waterfall or stream. Simply bury in the ground for minimal water drop
or raise to create a more dramatic waterfall effect.
AquaFalls filters are easy to install! With other biological
waterfalls you have to bolt the front lip to the filter then use expanding foam to hold
the fake rock lip in place. The AquaFalls filter has a simulated rock lip built
right into the lip so you don't need to mess around with the expandable foam and hiding
the edge. Simply bolt the rock lip to the filter and you're done!
AquaFalls are also exceptional in that they offer the landscaper (or of
course, the homeowner too) complete flexibility in the location of attaching the
pump tubing to the AquaFalls. Other units only offer the plumbing attachment in the
back but the AquaFalls unit offers an opening on the right AND left side of the unit,
making water flow greater and less plumbing "elbows" to deal with (which cuts
down water pressure). Having an opening on both sides of the unit also provides an
option to use one opening for a drain while the other opening is used for the inlet of
water. Using an optional drain feature is ideal for cleaning the unit.
Simply let the water run in through one side of the filter and let the dirt and debris go
out the other side! You would need an optional ball valve to attach to the
other opening when not draining or cleaning the filter. Simply keep the valve closed
when the AquaFalls is in use and open the valve when you want to clean the filter.
Ball valve not included. If you decide not to use the second opening, we've included
a bulkhead plug which will tightly plug the second opening and stop from any water loss.
Each AquaFalls filter includes an internal filter support stand which keeps the
filter pads off the bottom of the filter to prevent plugging.
Use more than one AquaFalls for a truly dynamic waterfall effect!

Mini Aquafalls
New mini-sized Aquafalls for small ponds up to 1500 gallons. One piece design (lip
is molded into filter tub) for super easy installation. Pond liner (not included)
from mini Aquafalls to pond (for stream bed) is bolted to face of filter for a water tight
seal. 1 1/2" inlet fitting in back of filter, 14" wide waterfall opening,
provides biological filtration for ponds up to 1500 gallons. Comes standard with 2
filter pads and 1 large mesh bags for filter media. Measures 18" x 24" x
18". Maximum recommended flow rate 40 GPM.

EP Waterfall Spillway
Our waterfall spillway is the only expandable waterfall spillway on the
market! The EP Waterfall Spillway consists of a left and right end
piece which when bolted to each other form an 18" spillway. A 16"
extension is also available which bolts in between the left and right end
pieces. You can install as many of the 16" extensions as desired
before attaching the ends. Waterfall spillways of 18", 34" and 50"
will come assembled. Spillways over 50" wide will come unassembled due
to shipping requirements. A bulkhead fitting is included for each end
so water can enter from the left or right side! A plug is included to
plug whichever end is not used.Waterfall
spillways are designed to sit inside the liner eliminating any concerns of
leaking. The liner simply goes under the spillway and up the back
side. The bulkhead fitting secures liner to tub where the hose enters
the spillway.
Waterfall spillways have a plastic grating just below
the water level which not only keeps the walls from bowing when buried in
the ground but also allows you to stack 3 - 4" of rock to hide the spillway.
For curved
waterfalls...
Use inward curving pieces to create a concave
waterfall, use outward curving pieces to create a "peninsula" with water
falling off three sides or use both styles combined together to create an
"S" shaped waterfall! The straight, inward and
outward pieces are interchangeable and can be used in any
combination.
Waterfall spillways are designed to sit

Just-a-Falls Set Up
Basic installation procedure: Dig hole for pond
vault. Dig out shallow stream area. Install underlayment in stream.
Install pond liner in stream. Connect pump tubing to pump. Place pump in pond
vault. Dig out trench for tubing to run up to the top of the waterfall unit
(Aquafalls). Connect to Aquafalls. Fill vault with water. Design top of
vault area with rocks and stream bed.
Available in small, medium and large kits.
Each 'Just-a-Falls' rock pond and waterfall
kit comes complete with everything you need (except the rocks). The kit includes:
45 mil EPDM pond liner, felt underlayment, EasyPro pond vault, submersible pump, check
valve assembly, Aquafalls waterfall filter unit, flexible pvc pipe tubing, waterfall
installation kit.
